MRS.TENER's NEwslettersNews & Announcements
The teachers and I listened to an amazing speaker last Friday. Mrs. Sheri Wohlfert is a Catholic school teacher who hails from Kansas but lives in Michigan on a dairy farm. Her blog states: “The mission of her ministry is to encourage others to take a good look at the simple ways we can all find God doing joyful, blessed, amazing things smack dab in the middle of the laundry, ball games, farm chores and the hundred other things we manage to cram into a day
Mr. Shon is back–at least on light duty. One of his first orders of business is to arrange the installation of the two water bottle filler machines we have. We have had two more on backorder since last March. Unfortunately, large orders take priority so when a school district orders 100 or something like that, we have to continue waiting.
Thank you again to everyone who has sent water bottles to the school. In the mean time, please continue to send two reusable water bottles with your child each day.
We have had a lot of activity in our building this week. The new doors for the activity center and the front of the school have been installed. The interactive boards arrived last week. They were installed this week but some of the mounts are on backorder! We have nine of the seventeen installed. I will include pictures of those next week. I’ve included some pictures from our hallways that you don’t get to see since you are not allowed in the building currently.
St. Philip Neri witnessed a true miracle this week. Mrs. Allison received her new kidney yesterday. All reports are that the surgery went well. She was back in her hospital room by 10 o’clock last night. Please continue to pray for her and her donor’s family. She will spend several days in the hospital.
Thank you again to everyone who has sent water bottles to the school. It seems that many students are not brining water bottles from home.
